안개 낀 평원 한 가운데 우뚝 솟은 정체 불명의 덩어리. 그곳으로부터 심장 하나가 떨어지고 마침 주인공이 이를 줍게 된다. 머지 않아 심장을 얻기 위해 하나 둘씩 사람들이 모여들고 심장을 뺏기지 않으려는 주인공의 사투가 시작된다. 작은 다툼에서 시작된 갈등은 인물들이 끝없이 개입됨에 따라 겉잡을 수 없을 정도로 커지고, 목숨을 건 전쟁 끝에 심장이 처음 떨어졌던 덩어리의 정체가 밝혀지는데…
